About Billy Five

Founder of Port of Entry, Billy brings it all to the table. He refuses to classify himself a Christian and opts for “follower of Christ.” Not big on hypocricy or organized religion, Billy is passionate about offering an alternative to conventional church services. “The message is in the music and the music is designed to create freedom in the room” for the Holy Spirit to work in hearts.

Born and raised in Brookyln, New York, Billy had amassed a comprehensive résumé of misguided zeal. No stranger to hard rock or hard times, Billy Five (born William David Albanese) pursued playing guitar at an early age. After twenty years of playing in secular bands, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at which time his calling became crystal clear: Focus his spiritual gifts on proclaiming the glory of the Lord through music. After nine years of diligent prayer and perseverance, Port of Entry was born.
